Europe is not a piece of merchandise. Another Europe is possible, at odds with neoliberalism and xenophobic populisms. A pacific, democratic, social and ecological Europe. Beyond the rejection of the project of European constitution, this Other Europe will only come into being if the citizens collectively take over the European construction. This requires in particular a better knowledge of what happens in our name at European level within the official authorities, through selective mobilizations about specific subjects and through the creation of a real European public space. Gradually, we should manage to define the project of Another Europe.

This website has the ambition to contribute to this definition by creating an alter-European collaborative workspace based on wiki technology. To gather and put at other's disposal the information and critical analyses about the main European issues, to follow the official agenda and the alter-European agenda, to establish transnational links: everyone can contribute. Thanks to wiki, every visitor of the website is a potential contributor (see the user's guide).
